Summary
Reading Eggs is a lesson program. Junior is for ages 2–4, Reading Eggs for ages 3–7, Fast Phonics for ages 5–10, and Reading Eggspress for ages 7–13, through about a grade 6 reading level. Mathseeds, for ages 3–9, is included in the combined plan. The child works through lessons. It is not an AI tutor.

Best for: A child who is learning to read, or a younger child practicing early math, on a parent account that can hold up to four children.

The US home pricing page lists $13.99 a month, or $99.99 a year, for all reading and math programs for up to four children. Homeschool Max is $41.90 a month or $299 a year. Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the next bill. The same page offers 30 days of free access and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Printed workbooks on that page are $19.95 each and are not included in the subscription.

Teaches or gives answers: Teaches
Lessons teach phonics, sight words, comprehension, spelling, and early math, then the child answers. Reading Eggs does not photograph a worksheet and return the answer.

Kid safety and privacy: Partly verified
Accounts are parent accounts with child profiles. A COPPA policy was not on the pricing page we read. A separate Reading Eggs landing page calls the product an ad-free space. We did not confirm that on the pricing page.

Not verified
- Eggspress skills are described through grade 6, while the age range goes to 13. Seventh and eighth grade are not listed here.
- Mathseeds stops at age 9. A 5th or 6th grader on this list is in the reading programs, not Mathseeds.
- Another Reading Eggs landing page has listed a reading-only year at $69.99 and a math-only year at $49.99. Those plans were not the two prices on the main US pricing page.
