DirectoryPhonics in Motion
Phonics in Motion
A teacher’s early-reading curriculum that pairs each sound with a motion. Not a student solver.
Phonics in Motion is a multisensory reading and writing method. Its research paper describes a scope for preschool through 3rd grade, plus remediation for older students. Adults teach with motions, poems, handwriting practice, and spelling routines. It is a curriculum, not an app that answers homework.

Pricing
Partly verified
The shop category page lists the complete classroom program from $19.99 a month or $179.88 a year, and Phonemic Awareness Foundations at $37. “From” means the cart can differ. These are prices for the teaching materials, not a per-child app subscription.
Teaches, or gives the answer?
An adult teaches the child to hear, read, and write sounds. Phonics in Motion does not take a photo of a page and return the words.

Not verified
The pages we read describe materials and training for an adult to use with children. They did not describe a child login. We did not review a privacy policy.
What we could not verify
- The core sequence is preschool through 3rd grade. Materials labeled for 3rd grade and up are for remediation, not a separate 4th-through-8th curriculum, so those grades are not listed here.
- The shop page says “from” those subscription prices. Confirm the cart.
- This is built for classrooms as well as families. A home buyer still has to teach the lessons.
