Education.com

Education.com’s membership help article says Basic is free and limited to three downloads a month. Parent Premium covers the family’s children, is billed monthly or yearly, and auto-renews until canceled. The pricing page we opened did not show a dollar amount, so this listing does not name one. Terms say you can email during the first 30 days for a full refund.

Teaches, or gives the answer?

The child completes a worksheet, activity, or guided game. Education.com does not photograph a problem and hand back the answer.

Terms say Education.com does not sell the service to children, and that a child under 13 may use it only with a parent, guardian, or school. The children’s privacy policy says an adult creates the account and the child’s username, and that the company does not sell or rent personal information of children under 13. That children’s policy lists an effective date of February 7, 2017.

What we could not verify

• The pricing page did not show current dollar prices when we opened it.
• Worksheets run from preschool through 8th grade, with the catalog concentrated on pre-K through 5th. Brainzy guided lessons stop at 5th grade.
• The children’s privacy policy we read is dated February 7, 2017. A newer children’s notice was not on that page.
• This directory has no separate pre-K band. Kindergarten is the youngest grade listed here.
